Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread 2006

Passover period (day) begins at sunset on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. Communion will be Thursday afternoon, April 13, about 3pm, which corresponds to the time of day when Christ gave up the Ghost, on the Cross.

(This is the 14th day of the month Abib. Exodus 12:1-2; Lev. 23: 4-5; Deut 16:1. This is the day the apostle Paul refers to when he states: â œChrist our passover is sacrificed for us." 1Cor 5:7-8).

The Seven Days of Unleavened Bread immediately follow the Passover.

First Holyday Convocation begins at sunset Thursday, April 13, 2006, and the Feast continues 7 days.

(This is the FULL MOON of Abib 15 and day of the Exodus from Egypt, the astronomical middle of the month, a Holyday in which no servile work is to be done. Lev. 23: 6-8. This is "an high day" after the crucifixion, the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread John 19:31).

The Days of Unleavened Bread continue 7 days through sunset on Thursday, April 20, 2006 (Holy Convocation, no servile work, Lev. 23:8).
